The basalt fiber chopped strands or chopped basalt fiber for reinforcing concrete is mainly replacing the alkali-resistant fiberglass (AR-glass) chopped strands. Normally, the tensile strength of basalt fiber should be twice more than the one of AR-glass in the concrete. However, a good sizing recipe should be very important. The basic performance of the concrete reinforcing chopped basalt fiber should be assembling 200 strands together, separating those 200-tip groups into concrete, easy-chopping, without static while using， some special gredients for improving alkali-resistant performance and so on. So the sizing design should be according to these requirements.
