Talking about the basalt fiber production process engineering, we will start with the production line design. Normally, production process is a macro-angle view which includes furnace design, bushing design, fabrication and installation, rolling machine, fiber drawing machine and so on. In this article, the process engineering is just for the fiber drawing and rolling part of the macro-angle production line.
The distance from the bushing to the sizing feeding system and the sizing feeding system to the fiber rolling systerm should be the most important element. However, the fiber drawing angle from the bushing is also very critical. For bigger bushing and furnace, there will be a foggy machine to lower the temperature of the fiber just coming down from the bushing. The position, distance and angle are the three conditions for the process engineer’s thinking.
